Quotation accuracy in educational research articles

چکیده
This study examined to what extent educational research articles are cited in accordance with content. Analysis of 500 randomly selected citations from published between 2016 and 2020 listed Web Science Core Collection revealed an overall accuracy rate 85%. Quotation was independent a citation's specificity bibliometric characteristics. However, the severity quotation mistakes associated how specific content referenced source is described whether authors quote work colleague or their own. These findings discussed light established rates other academic fields measures reduce errors proposed.
